What It Really Takes to Run a Youth T-Ball League

Many people see the fun parts of T-Ball—uniforms, trophies, and smiling kids—but very few realize everything that happens behind the scenes to make each season possible.

Running a nonprofit youth sports league is much more than ordering shirts and scheduling games. It takes hundreds of volunteer hours, thousands of dollars in operating expenses, and constant maintenance to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for every child.

Here are just some of the costs and responsibilities involved:

Grading and leveling the infield

Replacing dirt and field materials

Base repairs and replacements

Fence and gate maintenance

Dugout repairs

Trash removal and cleanup after every event

Community Support

Our league is also committed to ensuring every child has an opportunity to play. We have:

Sponsored children who could not afford registration.

Offered discounted registrations to families in need.

Allowed coaches' children to play at no cost as a thank-you for volunteering.

Donated equipment to players who needed it.

These acts of generosity are only possible because of fundraising, sponsorships, donations, and dedicated volunteers.

It Takes a Village

A successful youth T-Ball league is built by an entire community—not just the players on the field. Every coach, volunteer, sponsor, donor, board member, and parent plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our children.

When you support Little Tikes Coed T-Ball Inc., you're not just helping buy uniforms or trophies. You're helping maintain safe fields, provide quality equipment, keep children hydrated, assist families in need, and create lifelong memories for over 100 young athletes each season.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission. Together, we are investing in our community and the future of our children.
